Position Size Calculator By ThunderBolt
**Position Size Calculator — By ThunderBolt ⚡**
A lightweight, always-on position size calculator that tells you exactly how many lots or contracts to trade based on your account size, risk tolerance, and stop loss distance.
**No manual price entry required.** Simply set your account size, risk percentage or fixed dollar amount, and the number of pips, points, or ticks for your stop loss. The indicator automatically detects the asset you are trading and applies the correct tick value and contract size in real time — pulled directly from exchange specifications.

---
**How to use**
1. Open Settings and enter your account size
2. Choose risk mode — percentage or fixed dollar amount
3. Choose direction — Long or Short
4. Enter your stop loss distance in pips, points, or ticks depending on the asset
5. Optionally enter a take profit distance to see your R:R ratio
6. The position size updates live as price moves
**Note for futures traders:** Enter your stop loss in ticks — the same unit you count on your chart. The indicator reads tick size and point value directly from the exchange spec via TradingView, so no manual contract configuration is needed.
